Hi Diana, My overall experience was excellent. The arrival process was smooth and the facilities provided boxes and outdoor seating area are as good as you could wish for. The food quality was excellent. I rated it as number 2 behind Chester and have had runners at most racecourses in the UK. Staff were very friendly. I though the interviews in the winners enclosure after the race were a great touch and of course we were very lucky to have a winner this time.
The winners experience was very good. I cannot thank the racecourse enough for a wonderful experience from before the meeting to the whole day. It is one of my favorite racecourses and would always look to run our horses there if race conditions are suitable. Once again many thanks to yourself and your team. Hi Diana, We had a fabulous day out. Hospitality was perfect from start to finish. Food was lovely with a good choice. Watching the race from boxes was amazing with a great view of the finish line.
Our day was made complete when our horse ‘Enpassant’ won his race, his first for our syndicate. It was so exciting and a lovely touch to meet the course director and have a glass of champagne whilst watching a re run. All in all a 5* experience. Thank you for having us 😀 Louise Lynn 11/08/25

Exceeded our expectations and we would certainly hope to be back there.

Good morning, Jimmy, On my visit to Leicester last week, I was really impressed with the facilities and service now being provided to Owners and Trainers. The team at the entrance office were welcoming, friendly and efficient and the Owners and Trainers suite is an impressive facility, which creates a great experience for Owners. The transformation from the previous marquee arrangements is very commendable, particularly as you've delivered all the changes through your in-house team of staff. We also greatly appreciate Diana's help and support with our O&T badge requests, which are often at short notice! Hi Diana I just wanted to commend Leicester racecourse for it's welcome and the hospitality that I enjoyed during my two recent visits. I have been attending the track as an assistant trainer or racing manager since the mid seventies - indeed, I remember saddling three winners one afternoon in April 1978 as assistant-trainer to Paul Cole!
Until last Tuesday, my previous visit was in May 2022 and the O/T racecourse expeience has improved markedly since then.The quality of the food is very good and the new lounges - replacing a rather dreary bar - have been created to a high standard. The comfortable furnishings, together with the availability of tea/coffee and assorted biscuits are a further example of how much effort is being made to care for Leicester's professional clientele.

My syndicate members had a brilliant day, thoroughly enjoyed it and were looked after as always. Thirsty is home and is A1 this morning, it wasnt his day yesterday but he came home safe and with a little prize money too, so thats a win in my eyes! 14/02/25

Good afternoon David, We visited Leicester Racecourse as owners yesterday. I just wanted to drop you a note with some feedback. Your staff were so helpful and smiley. We were well greeted upon arrival. It was a lovely to touch to receive a complimentary drink. Upon arrival in the owner's marquee again staff were so friendly and happy to help. The food was great, and another nice touch was the coffee, tea and great selection of biscuits. It was a shame our horse didn't win but great hospitality. All the best. SR 24/07/24

All the amenities were spotless and the food was well presented and I can recommend the Tuna.
Serving Staff were friendly and hard working.

Hello, Just a message to compliment Leicester Racecourse on how well looked after it is, the grounds and public areas. Also, I thought the meal in the Owner's restaurant was really good. A far cry from a soggy sandwich straight out of the fridge at a lot of tracks! I had the Chicken Chasseur which was very good indeed. Staff were really good and friendly. Regards Carol Hare
Hi Diana I just wanted to say a huge thanks for looking after Diamond Racing share holders so well on Saturday 29th April when Ivy Avenue run a great second on what I know is your biggest day of the year. I acknowledge how you went way beyond the call of duty when making sure so many share holders were able to access the owners facilities, and this is hugely appreciated. Not all courses are so helpful and the experience we had at Leicester was so good and means we are actively looking for more suitable races with you. If I can do anything else re online reviews / feedback that I can help with please let me know. As I said before I am very local in Goadby and it is great that my local course are so welcoming to our syndicate members, there are many bigger courses around the country who can learn more than a thing or two from Leicester! Just a thank you to all involved with the owners facilities yesterday evening (28th). Despite the torrential downpour mid meeting, everyone from the car park stewards to the staff serving the excellent owner’s meal were welcoming and professional. It was my first time at the course and I will certainly return.
